Registering for Tournaments

When you open the link to the tourney page. If you click on "teams/check in" that will show you the current teams registered so far for the tourney. To refresh the page just click on "teams/check in" again or hit your refresh button.

To register for a tourney you click on "register" from the main page of the tourney page (its just above the one for teams/check in). Then scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a box. You fill in your playing name, password and a tick will be in the option for "start team" (this will make you the first person registered and you will be responsible for reporting a loss if you happen to lose a round).

Make sure you always tick the box for "I have read over the rules and agree to them". Please try and take the time to read the rules page before registering. Once you tick the box that you have read the rules...... there should be no complaints in the lobby about the format.......... after all you said you read them and agreed to them when you ticked the box. It only takes a minute to click on the rules tab to see what they are for that tournament.

Then when you are done click the "register" button. Then you can click back on "teams/check in" to make sure it shows you as being registered.

If you want to join someone from your team that is already registered for the tourney. You do the same thing...... click on "register", scroll to the bottom of the page and find the box. Fill in your playing name, password and tick "join team" then click on the drop down arrow and click which team you want to join (for example: it could be Loonie(2) or Loonie(3) make sure you know which team number you are joining if more than one team is registered). When you join someone it will put you in as player 2. Make sure to tick the box again for "I have read the rules" then click the "register" button.

The "withdraw" button is used in case you made a mistake and joined the wrong Loonie team for instance. Go back and withdraw yourself then re-register with the correct team you want to join.

Please try and have everyone on your MSN messenger. We use it to find partner's or to ask someone if they need a partner.

Please always try to register early for a tourney and be in VE's lobby at least 5 mins before it is to start so you will be there when the TD runs over the rules with everyone. And if you have any questions about the format that is the time to ask the Tournament Director about them.
