Ladder
Games
Ladder game formats can be anything as long as both teams
agree to it beforehand. You are permitted to play 5 matches against another Team
per day. Please do not play ladder games or "practice" games while you
are actively involved in a tournament.
Please make sure before submitting ladder game losses that you have the correct players selected for both teams. Those that ladder should be getting credit for them. Write them down if you need to so you don't forget.
How to Report Losses for Ladder Games
From the left side at Cases Ladder Main Page, find and select "report
loss"
Sign in with your player name and password (just like you do when you register
for a tourney).
Your team name will show, for example "GottaLuvDaBrats"
You will need to add your opponents team name (it must be exact).
Then click on "select players" button.
A window will appear that says "Select Match
Participants"
Your playing name will be there under the brats side as player 1.
You will need to add your partners name (player 2). Click on the drop down menu
to find their name and click on it.
Then you need to add your opponents playing names (player 1 and player 2). There
is a drop down menu that will list all players for that team. Just select the
one you need and click on it.
The bottom box needs to have your ladder playing name (because you are the one
reporting the loss).
Add your password.
And where is says "match comment" leave
that as is with the word "Optional" or
just leave it blank. DO NOT ADD COMMENTS. If
comments are written on the report page your ladder will be missed and not
counted, as it will appear like it is a tourney match.
Then click on "submit this
loss" button
And you are finished.
Please make sure you let your partner know if you are reporting the loss or not so that a double report isn't made.
Report all ladder game losses promptly. If you are playing more than one match with the same team, please report the loss before starting the next game, as it is easy to forget once you get started playing again.
A TD can help you in finding a team to ladder with in the lobby, just ask if anyone would like to ladder or for example; announce ladder game on table 29.
Each ladder game played helps your team stats, so grab a partner and start laddering!!!
Any questions or problems with ladder games please speak to your Team Captain or someone from Administration.
