How to Read the Standings Page
(see picture below)
Once the TD has closed the tourney, you need to refresh the tourney page. You
can do this by clicking on your refresh button or by clicking on the "team/check
in" tab again.
Once you have done that a tab for "standings"
will now show. **Note: This standings tab will not appear until the TD has
closed the tourney.
Click on the "standings" tab to find
where you are and what bracket you are showing on (upper or lower bracket).
Remember to know which team number you are (for example: if more than one Loonie
team is in the tourney).
You will see a little white circle with an "i"
in the middle, if you rest your cursor over that white circle it will show the
names of the players. This is the fastest way to find yourself.
The number after the circle is the team rank number. The number after the team
name is the number you need to watch for if more than one Loonie team is
playing. If 4 Loonie teams are playing you will see (2), (3) and (4). The first
Loonie team registered will have no number after it. For whatever reason, Cases
doesn't show the first team with a (1) after the team name.
Now once you have found yourself, look to see if you are on the upper bracket or
the lower bracket.
The upper bracket team listed for that round will set the table. The lower
bracket team will join the table that the opposing team sets up for that round.
To see which players of that team set for you, again rest your cursor on the
little white circle with an "i" in the
middle and it will display the names of the players.
Go back to the lobby and find them and which table they are setting and join
them.
The same is true if you are to set the table. Make sure you know the names of
the players of the team you are to play so you don't let a
non-league member or the wrong team sit at your table. Because then a reset will
be needed.
Remember to refresh the standings page for each round. Sometimes you will be on
the upper bracket and other times on the lower bracket.
So for that reason it's important to refresh the standings page to know if you
and your partner set for the next round or not.
If a "bye" is showing on the lower
bracket for that round, then you have a bye and automatically advance to the
next round.
Please don't wander off too far away from your computer, that you miss the TD
announcing the next round is starting, as timers will be placed on you.
It's important we all do our part to help the Tournament Directors out as much
as we can.
Thank you.
